What to Expect…
I arrive 2-3 hours prior to the ceremony and start painting the background of your venue, church, etc.
Couples can memorialize a first kiss, first dance, altar walk-back, posed shot, or other scene of their choice.
By the end of the night, I will have a beautiful rendition of your special moment painted on the canvas, wowing your guests and giving you a piece of art you’ll treasure forever!
The couple can either take the painting home the night-of, or let me refine the details and varnish off-site, in my studio.

PRICES & QUOTES :
2025 weddings -
For a standard 16x20 canvas with painted scene of choice, price is $850. Price increases with canvas size, special requests, etc.
18x24 canvas: $950
22x28 canvas: $1,200
The only additional costs are travel and shipping of the painting (if necessary). There is no additional price to add pets.

What methods of payment does Ruthie take?
I accept Venmo, Cash-app, Zelle, check, or cash!
Do I pay Ruthie before or after wedding?
Once your date is confirmed and booked with me, I ask for a 25% down-payment. The rest of the amount is paid on a decided date, typically a month before your wedding.
Do you travel?
Yes! I am based in the Upstate of South Carolina, but am more than willing to travel. If the venue is out-of-state, or requires an overnight stay, this will be incorporated into cost.
I have painted weddings all over South Carolina and look forward to expanding my list of venues traveled to!
